On this date we had to stay the night due to our house being treated for a basement infestation of spiders. The texting service was AWESOME as I had a direct line of communication with staff about questions. We arrived and the young lady was super nice and polite and EXTREMELY helpful. This is the end of the pleasantness. I awoke at 515am and made coffee (* once more the night staff was awesome and gave me extra!) While the coffee was brewing I went into the bathroom and tried to fire the old shower up. It fizzled and didn't work. So at 520am I called the front desk and a man answered. I told him the shower didn't work and I had myself, my wife and three kids that needed a shower. He said "you want me to come look at it? Sorry man" If it was due to working a lot lately or the stress of finding a basement full of poisonous insects or that I had to be up extra early and was REALLY looking forward to this shower or that I had to get two kids to school, one kid to the babysitter and drive over an hour to work, I'm not sure but the "sorry man" seriously agitated me. I roused everyone, checked out and left. I called back and spoke to the manager and she did end up discounting my room but I feel like there was a real lack of compassion. Perhaps I compared them to the night lady who was so pleasant and they just fell flat, or that I just was in a serious funk over the whole situation. I just feel like I was "shut up" with the discount. I'll likely not recommend this place to anyone.
Overall a good experience. Somehow my reservation was scheduled as 1 day when it should have been 2. They made changes and were able to accommodate me for both days even when fully booked. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Only downside is that it has a strong smell of chlorine. They may have just treated the pool... but it was very strong.
Brand new hotel and we'll decorated. Rooms are standard will nice showers and additional usb ports. Service staff is extremely personable.
Room is clean and the front desk attendant was helpful and happy. Breakfast was good quality as well.
Brand new hotel less than 6 months old. Very beautiful and clean inside and out. Our check in was short and sweet. Very quiet and smooth elevator ride to our floor. Our room was amazing! Our king size bed was soft yet firm and so comfortable. Love having the choice of the 5 different pillows on the bed. Room has mini fridge, microwave, large TV and closet with ironing board and iron. The black out blind on the window was amazing for sleeping in. Bathroom was a nice size with a fantastic shower. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was good. Hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, waffles, cereal, muffins, apple juice, orange juice, milk....and some very amazing coffee. Best coffee I have ever tasted and it was decaf! Did not get a chance to check out the pool. Will have to check it out the next time. We will be back!
